Slowing Down After A Busy Week

Last week, Dannielle had a packed weekend ahead of her.

On Friday, she participated in a college and career fair through her work as a community educator—a role that’s far more involved than most students (and even some staff) realize. One of her major projects has been developing a robotics soccer curriculum. On Saturday, the students who took part in the program competed in a tournament, and their hard work truly paid off. The event was such a success that financial backers and school districts are now planning a county vs. county competition for next year—an exciting step forward for a project that Dannielle has poured two years of effort into.

Later that evening, she drove to the other end of the county to deliver our delicious cupcakes to the San Bernardino County Fair Buyer’s Mixer. Out of 130 cupcakes, only 6 made it back home! It was heartwarming to watch local youth proudly talk about their ag projects and share what they’re passionate about.

And she wasn’t done yet—on Sunday, she and the kids headed back to the fairgrounds to help set up the livestock barns, rolling up their sleeves to support the fair from behind the scenes.

All of this is to say: if you’ve been wondering where our delicious treats went last week, it’s because Dannielle needed a little breather after a whirlwind few days.

This week at the ranch, we’ve been tidying up the property and reading through the buyer's letters to decide whether we’ll be purchasing or adding on to an animal project. Orders will resume next week, and we’re also cooking up a few new products, so stay tuned!

And keep an eye out for Andre—he’s rocking some new swag he’s pretty proud of!
