Coming Back, Slowly but Surely

A Heartfelt Thank You

First things first — thank you. The love, patience, and support you’ve shown us during this season has meant more than we can ever really put into words.

Taking It Slow

Since coming back about a month ago, we’ve still been moving slow — and not just because ranch chores keep us busier than a rooster at sunrise. The truth is, we don’t want to rush back before we’re ready. Healing takes time, and like a good stew, you can’t rush it without ruining the flavor.

Life on the Ranch Never Stops

Of course, ranch life doesn’t pause. The animals don’t hand out sick days, so there’s always feeding, fixing, and cleaning to be done. Along the way, we’ve found joy in little things — like the baby turkeys who have already decided they run this place.

Some days we’re full of energy and dive headfirst into projects. Other days, the best we can do is sip cold water in the shade and call it a victory. Both kinds of days matter.

Moving Forward

We’re still here, showing up one step at a time, and we’re grateful you’re walking with us as we find our pace again. There’s plenty more to come at Guerrero Heritage Ranch, and we’re excited to share it with you — slowly, steadily, and with a few laughs along the way.

With love (and maybe a few blisters),
Dannielle Chavera & Andre Guerrero
